If you wish it to be compulsory for customers purchasing items through your shop to spend a minimum amount, then you set this up by adding a "Minimum Order Amount" in your "Shop Settings" area.

To do this, please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your account.
2. Click "Shop" from the top-menu.
3. Select "Shop Settings" from the left-hand menu.
4. Click on "General Configuration" in the new window.
5. Select the "Checkout" tab. 
6. Scroll down to the "Minimum Order Amount" and fill in your minimum order amount, for example: 5.00

Customers should now only be able to make purchases through your shop if they have spent equal or above your minimum order amount.
